About our wilderness retreats

Izzy Tours has always valued offering cost-effective but still high quality trips for our school groups. In our new venture, Wilderness Retreats Across Iceland, we have the same ethos.

For many years Izzy tours has been supporting ICY Africa, a charity working with young people across Africa. The charity’s heartbeat is to transform individuals , recognising the resilience and potential of young people to be the answers to the challenges they face in their communities.

The Wilderness Retreats are a way to support this amazing charity, and continue our focus in Izzy Tours of inspiring young people, into Africa.

These trips are an opportunity to explore the awesome landscape of Iceland while having space to spiritually reflect, away from the daily pressures of life. They are led by David and Linda Isgrove. As well as David setting up Izzy tours in 2004, he and his wife Linda have been involved in Church Leadership for 48 years. They have been leading these retreats since September 2021.
